Diarmuid's team on a bit of a run...

Diarmuid's u14 club rugby team are on a bit of a roll - winning their 4th league game in a row at the weekend (against Castlebar, 12-8).

It was a very scrappy affair with Sligo missing 4 regulars. Diarmuid was only allowed to play for the first half (big school final coming up this week) and turned in a decent performance and a try.

Tim gets down and dirty

OK, so you might have heard - Tim, Jenny and Sadiemay were on Fair City this week as extra's. Dirty work I know but we made them do it.

Oh, also Tim has started playing rugby again. He's a couple of games under his belt now and is settling in nicely at number 15 for the Senior 2nds and making lots of fans at the club. Good man Tim!

Rugby season in full swing

Diarmuid's club and school rugby seasons are in full swing at the moment. He's playing club rugby at u14 level and they are 3 for 3 competitively this season with a big match against Castlebar coming up at the weekend.

At school he's playing number 5 for the Junior team (u15) and they have reached the Connacht final of their league (which is little more than a warm up for the hyper competitive cup competition coming after Christmas) - that game, against Marist is coming up next week.

Crazy Lady

Kerry showing us her moves last weekend. Like a three year old full of sugar and caffeine :)

Happy Birthday Jenny

We had a surprise 30(ish) birthday party for Jenny two weeks ago. Going by the photo though I think it was Denise that was more surprised. Will somebody please turn off that lamp!

Sadie and Diarmy

Seeing as Jenny and Tim never post any photos of our god daughter I see it as our responsibility to do it :)

Happy Birthday Kerry

We celebrated Kerry's birthday in Westport last Friday night. Good craic had by all. I'm not sure what type of face Triona is trying to pull here but she'd want to hope it doesn't stick.
Kerry's actual birthday was yesterday and she reached at age caught between 30 and 50 :)

Sadiemay turns 1

The Bernabeu

We had a nice shortly holiday recently in Madrid. Beautiful city. The highlight for the lads though was a tour of the bernabeu.

Monster Truck

Diarmuid finally meets his match - a monster truck (well a ford 350 with big wheels and a raised suspension). From our trip in Missouri.

Caroline gets married!

My Cousin Caroline was married recently in Springfield, Missouri. Diarmuid and myself went over for it and had a ball.

Big thanks to John for arranging our wee break away on Innisbofin. We had a great time- it's a lovely part of the world.

Eilish hits 21

My foster sister is the big 21! I know - this happened several months ago - I'm just catching up now. Sorry.

Babies Babies Babies

It seems everybody is having babies (girls at that) at the moment!

Congratulations to my foster brother Paul and Lynne on the birth of their second daughter Isabel.

Check out more photos of her here. Lynne - we hope your arm heals quickly.

Congratulations must go to Tom and Dearbhla as well on the birth of their third daughter Aoife. Tom works for Infacta, and he runs our US office in Bellingham.

It seems everybody is having girls at the moment. Must be the water.
